With all the rain we've had recently, there is plenty of standing water around, which attracted these ducks this morning. I love that they had no problem swimming through several inches of water, that when they came to the water, they didn't stop and go around or tell each other this wasn't a real pond, they simply swam and played like children do in a summer rain or in the sprinklers. Try telling children they can only play in pools and not puddles.
