As I've mentioned before, I've tried to avoid photoshopping and using special effects on the camera because I want the pictures to be as authentic as possible. I want you to see what I see when I am at church every morning.
That being said, this particular effect, which I've used before, actually presents this picture more truthfully. When I walk the grounds at Hope, I don't just see a bench or a labyrinth, or the sunrise. I see something special, something holy. When I walk up to the prayer labyrinth, it's like walking into a secret garden.
And so, even though I tinkered a bit with this photo, it is what I see
