Honestly, yesterday, when I noticed how much had been pruned away from the prayer garden, I was disappointed. I preferred the prayer garden somewhat isolated, so that whoever decided to pray there might feel peace and silence.
Now the prayer garden felt exposed and unprotected.
But this morning I came at the prayer garden not just at a different time of day, but from a different angle and was able to see how beautiful the garden looked at sunrise, that it was, for a few minutes, a place where both bench, entrance, and sun could be seen all at once.
I'm not completely sold, but it was nice to see the prayer garden in its entirety, in one frame.
