God is an artist.
God was the first artist.
Everything we do, the pictures we paint, the poems we write, the photos we take--are all copies of the original.
God is an artist.
How else to explain this plant, its star-like pattern, its colors. I'm sure there's some scientific explanation, but I'm also sure that if our only purpose in this world was survival, we could do that in perfectly ugly ways.
And yet beauty abounds everywhere.
Everywhere.

And His care and attention to the smallest details should tell us so much about how we are loved.
